MERMAID pencil drawing

WOW...my third update and STILL no comments? I guess this isn't as good as I originally thought! Well anyway, she is finished!

This drawing was inspired by a magnificent sketch I saw by a fantastic artist named Robert Islas. He graciously gave me permission to do a graphite rendering of his drawing. This is VERY small...on an 8" x 10" piece of bristol board...her face alone is smaller than 1 square inch!
I should have this finished in no time! Check back soon.
HERE is Robert's Blog...go see for yourself his amazing work!

I thought I did comment this. I go to your blog a lot, man! I just don't comment really because my compliments sound fake... Not really good with words haha.

You can draw. Anyone ever tell you that?

It's not as good as you originally thought... it's even BETTER! Plus, it's very sexy! I love it! The pose is great, and hair is wonderfully done. You created a nice underwater impression, just with the motion of the hair, and the subtle shading in the background. Also, it's very impressive how you made it on such a small format.
