This is a really small sketch I just did using a blue colored pencil. ( did you ever try to scan blue pencil? damn).
This is a layout for a graphite drawing I want to do today during my lunchbreak! I will us it on my letterhead for emails.
This sketch is About 3 inches tall.
This photo illustrates just how small this drawing really is!
Finished....and in just under 1 hour. She's will be used for my NEW stationery for my email. Leave a comment and I will email you a letter with this new design!

My kind of girl, too bad she's just 3 inches tall. :)
And for some reason, her shoes remind me of Spongebob.
Anyway, a splendid work! It's amazing what you were able to achieve in a little time, and on such a small format. This drawing has all the qualities of your more elaborate illustrations, only on smaller scale.
That's a jaw-dropping piece I must say!
I love it. Wish I could look like that haha.
Totally amazing that you finished it within 1 hour. I can't even draw a proper house in 1 hour let alone this.
Simply WOW!
You got her to blink and shrug her shoulders!!!
I LOVE IT!!!
Does she have a name?
She's just so cute!!! :)
Very cute drawing!! I really do like your work and think it is inspiring. I just wish I had the patience to put that much detail into my stuff.
She is really cute!=) I can imagine if she would be real that she could be so small that she can sit on your hand!
How do you put images in the blog-background?
Thank You Stefanie, I will email you instructions on how to add an image to your background!
Hi Pat.
I was wondering if you would help me. I am an aspiring artist and I love your style of drawing. Its so rich in texture and detail. I get discouraged alot when I draw because it doesn't seem to turn out the way i want it too. I know i have the potential because when i was in high school, i used to win medals and merit awards and awards of recognition all the time. I know you should only "draw what you see" but i was wondering if you had any tutorials that would help me improve my drawing. The one thing I have trouble with is drawing hair. And i saw a Hilary Duff portrait you drew showing how you used to draw hair, and how you draw hair now. What differently did you do? Any advice to help me would be greatly appreciated. My email address in NVDancingDiva@aol.com. Thanks sooo much :)
