Drawing number 3 (in progress)

Just a small little drawing that will be a gift for my little niece. What you see here represents about 2 and a half hours of drawing time so far.

An update...approx 70% complete at this stage.

Jayne Wisener ( work in progress)

here's an update showing where I am with the hair! I should be finished this drawing one day this week! Thanks to all who left a comment!
With an HB pencil, I sketched out the various locks of long hair!! When I'm happy with the shapes, I go in with a 2B pencil for sharper definition and higher contrast...That's when it "POPS".
I also spent about 20 minutes repairing her nose, the bridge of her nose was off to the left too much. I also repaired her bottom lip to make it more balanced. 5 hours total so far!

I just started another drawing the other day...I think this one will be very beautiful!
This is young Irish actress Jayne Wisener ( Joanna in the new Sweeney Todd movie). She is quite a lovely lass with her HUGE wide eyes and ridiculously tiny nose...Awesome.
As you can see from the photo, her face is quite small but the over all drawing will be the same size as all the others!
