Happy New Year...I just started a new portrait drawing...what a surprise, another pretty girl! It may not seem like it, but I try NEW techniques with every drawing I do in an effort to improve. The subject matter may be a bit boring, but ultimately I hope to make something pleasant on the eyes. I am not trying to make any profound statements or any of that artistic bullshit, just a nice little sketch.

I have always been captivated by black and white drawings. They're so much more dramatic than color illustrations, to me.
